Drew Miller is a saxophonist/songwriter/arranger from Louisville, Kentucky. Drew attended the Youth Performing Arts School (96'-00') and the University of Louisville (00'-05'), where he was awarded a full scholarship. While at UL, he studied with John LaBarbara, Jamey Aebersold, Delfaeyo Marsalis, Michael Arthurs, and Mike Tracy and performed with jazz masters Phil Woods and James Moody. He gained valuable professional experience traveling nationally and internationally with the Wind Ensemble and Jazz Bands. Since 2005, Drew has maintained a constant performance and recording schedule playing in clubs, concert halls, theaters, and some of the biggest music festivals in the world (Lollapalooza, ACL, Forecastle, Shakey Knees, Telluride). Music has taken him to Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Brazil and all around the United States. From 2014-2016, Drew toured and recorded with indie icon Bonnie Prince Billy, and from 2016-2020 toured and recorded with Houndmouth. Drew has also played with SPOON, Wanda Jackson, Teddy Abrams, the Baltimore Symphony, Lucky Pineapple, Another 7 Astronauts, Wax Fang, Cheyenne Mize, 23 String Band, The Ladybirds, Junk Yard Dogs, and countless other local and regional artists. He also wrote and produced 3 albums with his band CURIOKEY CLUB (2015-2020). Drew is currently gigging with his jazz trio and second-line party band HOT SAUCE BRASS BAND.
