Named for Gertrude Cleo Lythgoe, known as 'Queen of the Bootleggers,' Gertie's Whiskey Bar celebrates freethinking and individualism, at the bar and in the glass. Gertie’s was named the Best Whiskey Bar in Tennessee by Thrillist, and offers over 600 bottles of rare and hard to find whiskeys.

Gertie’s Whiskey Bar, located in the heart of the Gulch neighborhood of Nashville and downstairs from The 404 Kitchen, offers unique cocktails, rare and unusual wines and has one of the largest whiskey selections in the south, earning a spot on Travel + Leisure‘s list of the best whiskey bars in America and a nod at the best whiskey bar in Tennessee from Thrillist. The 404 Kitchen's full dinner menu is available in the bar. The beverage program offers both classic cocktail preparations and original craft cocktails, and a curated selection of wines offered by the glass and the bottle, many hand selected by celebrated Chef Matt Bolus. The Whiskey Society was launched in 2018 to bring local whiskey lovers together to celebrate and explore everything whiskey-related. Our weekly Whiskey Wednesday at Gertie's features one of our select whiskies that will be half off pours, all night long. Available both in Gertie's Whiskey Bar and dining at The 404 Kitchen upstairs.
